Pay the extra and stay at a better hotel
I missed a flight and contacted the hotel to let them know to charge me for the night and that I would arrive the next day. When I landed I called the hotel and there was no answer for 30 mins. When I spoke to the front desk I was told I had the room for the night but they had given my other nights away. When I arrived I had to argue with the front desk and demand they call a manger who was not on property at 4pm on a business day to get a room. I was also over charge for the room from what my Hotels.com reservation was booked at. When I entered the hotel or spoke to the front desk during my stay they were very rude and cold to me. Overall for the price I would have paid more to have a better welcome and experience. Hotels.com then told me that I needed to take all of this up with the hotel.

From the second we stepped foot in the hotel, we were greeted by Marie at the front desk. She was so friendly and helpful and made our stay great from that moment. I ended up losing my wallet at the Louvre and she even offered to help with calling for me and where a police station was nearby. I ended up finding it but the help that she was willing to offer was awesome. Another employee by the name of Rudy was very kind and helpful as well. Both of them left a great impression of the area and the hotel itself. Would stay again if we make it back
