If you arrive late night, don’t stay here
I called hours earlier in the day to say our flight was delayed. We would not be arriving til really late meaning early in the am. They said they noted it and to call on arrival at the airport for the shuttle. We land really late 2am-ish. Call the hotel and no one would answer, called again phone rang forever and they said to go outside and call back with island number we are at. I asked if someone would be answering the phone on the call back. When we went out of airport to shuttle waiting area we called back And phone rang forever, when they did answer we let them know where we were waiting with many others. We arrived at hotel at 2:30am with nobody at front counter for 30 minutes. A lobby full of guests who could not check in because there was no attendant to be found. At 3am we hear someone yelling in the lobby hallway bathroom about no paper towels and making weird talk noises that made no sense at all. When that person came out of the bathroom, it was the worker that acted like she was supposed no one was there at counter??? It’s 3am why she left us out waiting for 30 minutes is unacceptable. She seemed to be impaired by something and was acting strangely and tan up the stairs?? Then a bum walked in telling her he needed to wash up in the bathroom and she let him saying only 5 minutes. What???? Really. I would not recommend this place based on personal and her unprofessionalism. She was a horrible representation of this hotel.

Yikes!
Got to hotel after a bad flight. Long checkin line and only one overworked employee at the front desk. Couldn’t find the reservation. I showed her the email with the confirmation number. She informed me that that number does her absolutely no good because I made the reservation through you a third party and that number is your # in your system and not in hers. After calling Hotels.com and explaining situation they tried calling her to find the reservation and she told your agents the same thing. Meanwhile there has been a steady stream of guests as well as phone calls from people asking for hotel shuttle pickup that she has to arrange and then the airport shuttle shows up with 9 more people to check in. I’ve been on hold, your agents have been on hold. Things are not going well and this is now 90 minutes into the soap opera. Finally your agent calls back and says he’s found a new place for us to stay. Address is the opposite direction we want to head the next day and where we have reservation through you at another place for 4 days. Your agent kindly calls this property and they do have a room. Your agent will cover the cost difference for this one night extra stay and we’re off. All went smoothly after that but it was now after midnight (2am in our “home” time zone) and we’re beat. Can’t fault your agents or even the young gal at the Days Inn desk. She had absolutely NO HELP or backup. She didn’t ever raise her voice with anyone there.

This is an old place that lacks a motivated staff to keep it clean. The breakfast is a joke and consists of coffee and a cheap packaged $.50 pastry. The fitness center is closed. I wouldn’t pick this place again…
