low expectations weren't low enough
i reserved a non-smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes. the fire alarm was beeping like it needed new batteries, i told them at the front desk and after two days they still hadn't put new batteries in it. the walls are paper thin, could hear everybody else's TV's blaring all night. the windows were all sealed, no way to open anything for ventilation or to get the stink out.

2/10 Poor

Deceiving wouldn't recommend.
This place is nothing like the pictures online. When I walked into the office there were two people at the check in counter neither one said hello or anything. The room was dirty and run down. I walked in the room and my shoes stuck to the tile floor, you could see dirt in the bathroom floor still. It looked and felt awful. There was a musty smell to thr room. The bed looked so awful that I wouldn't even touch sit on it, the room and feel of the place was so bad that we chose to lose the 109.00 the room cost us and did not even stay there instead we choose to drive home after going to Cedar Point. I have stayed in some sketchy rooms in the past, but this place topped them, me nor my husband felt safe here.

Pay more stay elsewhere
Room had mold in bathroom, bedding is old and doesnt fit a king bed. Pool was freezing. Some random smoke detector went off from 1am to 7am. Had no ice bucket, no room phone, no alarm clock, towels were old and tiny. Stayed 3 nights never had housekeeping show up. Staff sits outside and smokes nonstop.

2/10 Poor

When we got there we were given a room with 12 year old boy galaxy bedding, and the room smelled like mold. We were given a different room and it was a little better. But smelled like smoke even though no smoking was aloud in the rooms. The toilet didn’t flush and we had to ask for light bulbs for the lamp. The hotel front desk lady was not accommodating and was really rude when asked to switch rooms. Once we took a look around we found out that 3 of the hotel rooms upstairs were condemned. Over all we will not be staying again even though the pool was the only thing nice about the whole stay.

Cedar Point
I had stayed here for them as the old Rodeway Inn. I was looking for an economy motel. I also like the fact that they had an outdoor pool that I could use. I am an avid swimmer and I swim literally every day I’ve not missed a day of swimming since March 20. I am doing the backstroke in the pool 144 links my pool that I go to takes me 72 links to do a mile so I doubled it. It took me about the same amount of time. Is it normally what to do my mile. The first part of my swim is fine. There was an older couple that got in the water and they kept them themselves, but halfway through my swim a bunch of kids that were unattended by adults for all over the pool deck, jumping in, they kept running into me one kid‘s wore me at the squirt gun and I was staying in my end of the pool. The kids hit the whole pool on the other hand, other side to play in, and they kept jumping and splashing and getting in my way, so I was very frustrated. I was able to finish my swim and I was going to swim Sunday morning and I just to leave early to go back to my own pool in Indiana because I didn’t know if if is going to be back again, so I was real happy that they were kids, ed, and the pool and being my cable television also didn’t work the girl at the front desk apologized and she told me that I should have called the front desk. I paid $81 for a room with no television show her that did not work that great. The room should have been given to me at a greater discount. I was at Cedar Point.
