We spent Christmas Eve at Villas Sol because our flight to the USA was cancelled. At first the place seem great. Upon walking around I was utterly surprised how dirty the grounds and pool was. Lots of trash and liter. The food was OK certainly not the best we ate during our stay. The cocktails and coffee were Terrible. The most negative experience took place as we pre paid for a shuttle back to the airport with the front desk ($60) for a 7am shuttle. Upon checking out a 7am no shuttle and the individual had no idea of our shuttle which was pre paid. They did not have a driver or a shuttle for us. Luckily another family booked a private shuttle and let us join. We never got our $60 back from the hotel as we were in a rush to get to the airport. I would be very hesitant to stay at this place and would not recommend it.
