Not a happy visitor
Not a very good area. Housekeeping did not clean room daily, when we requested, it was not done efficiently and new items such as coffee was not left. Dirty coffee cup from morning before was still not addressed. Courtyard noise was loud. Staff was helpful when we asked traveling questions. No restaurants in immediate area. Shower pressure and bed were nice.

Horrible hotel !
This hotel was the WORST ever ! I regret ever booking this hotel. I had to leave the hotel due to uncleanliness and strong unsatisfying odor & book another hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 12pm and wasn’t able to check in and was informed check in time was 3pm (which is understandable). So we went out to eat and waited to be 3pm to check in. However it was 3pm and the front desk staff told us the room wasn’t ready and we had to wait an additional 40 minutes to get the room. Once we got the room and saw how unclean it was. It was extremely disappointing. The mattress had a big yellow unpleasant stain. The sheets were stained as well. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor. Also the pictures that were advertise at hotel.com (regarding the room and hotel) is not what was presented to us. The room was extremely old looking and presents to need a remodel ASAP. The elevator is really tiny. I don’t not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good location for metro, train and eurotrain transport- both Gare du Nord and East stations are within 10 minutes of walking distance.

Paris Visit
The hotel is old but clean. The elevator is so small. The bathroom is nice and clean, no mildew and molds. Location is good, many restaurants around and the metro station is just 2 blocks away. Staff are helpful. It was a pleasant stay .

Avoid.
Paid for a double, given a room with 3 single beds, room looked like something from the 70's . Not sure were the picture on website come from! Paid a 1/4 of the price in the UK for hotels ten times better than this place.
