Convenient Location
Me and my family spent 5 days in Vancouver for a cultural vacation and felt like home in the Greenbrier Hotel. The room service missed couple of small things but other than that everyone was friendly. The hotel is an old building converted (which we liked very much), and the only critics is that it doesn't have an elevator. But other than that it was nice. If we go Vancouver again we most probably will check this hotel again.

just fine, but nothing special
I stayed at this hotel by myself for a work conference. The location was perfect. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean. It was very basic. You get what you pay for as far as level of comfort of the bed, towels, sheets, etc. The room was very inexpensive. I wouldn't stay here with my husband as he does not sleep well and this bed would make that worse. I would stay here again by myself, however.

good hotel overall
Overall the hotel was good for the price. The hotel is a bit older than some of the others I've stayed in, but my room was clean and spacious and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. The Wifi worked well which is definitely a plus. The location is great - close to restaurants and shops and about a 10-15 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk!) from the convention center for conferences, etc. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel in downtown Vancouver. I was in town for a conference and the room was very large, clean, and affordable! The hotel does not have stairs, but the staff are willing to help out! An overall great experience

Very decent for the price, in a fantastic area.
Stayed for a few days to take a course at a nearby restaurant. The building has central heating, so if you're on the third floor you'll need to use a provided space heater at night in the winter. Water pressure in the shower is phenomenal, but it takes quite a while to heat up. The bathroom was well heated though. Kitchenette is adequate, you must request any cooking implements and utensils you need from the front desk. It might be worth it to pack your own if you're staying there for a while, as what is provided is nothing special. Bedroom was plenty quiet at night, good soundproofing there. Rest of the apartment/suite was alright. Sparse cable options, but free WiFi, so Netflix 'til you drop.
