It was an amazing hotel then expected. It was spacious, very clean, staffs are super nice. The hotel was very close to the subway station. Walkable distance. We went with our toddler and we had a great time in Robert Treat hotel. It was a great experience for us. Happy with our choice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay. Positives: Room was well-appointed and lobby area seemed nice. Check in employee was friendly Negatives: WiFi signal cut in and out several times over the course of the evening. The water in the shower never got above a cool room temperature. I let the front desk employee know as a courtesy at check out and they could not have cared less about that information.

Let me say I was born and raised in Newark. I currently live in NC and I came back for a funeral and decided to stay at "The Treat" and even being a native i was mad myself for not staying there everytime I come home. Absolutely stunning!!!! Got breakfast made to order delivered to the door!! You cant find a decent bacon egg in chz in NC so that was top tier. The room gave comfy and was super clean. The parking is kinda schetchy but it worked out because we were there during the week day. I say all that to say... please please please stay here. Its definitely a vibe.
