Great find in Scottsdale. Large rooms, lots of amenities, big well-equipped fitness center. The staff was so nice. Starbucks and Ruth’s Chris steakhouse across the street!

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at, very clean and spacious. The grounds were well maintained and the whole property was beautiful. Staff was very attentive and responsive. The restaurant on site served awesome food, which was reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again!

Furnace fan was on all night and disrupted our sleep. Pool was dominated by loud screaming kids at all times. TV didn’t include program guide and lost signal many times.

Our stay was great and service was exception. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The front desk was very quick and attentive and even checked us in early! But there were two issues that impacted what would have been a perfect stay. One, the main pool was under construction and it was very noisy at times. We were warned about the pool being unavailable but I didn't realize there was active construction. Luckily our room was far enough way we couldn't hear. But when we went to the restaurant for a meal, it was very loud so we couldn't sit in the outdoor seating. My second concern was amenities, specifically use of the tennis courts. As directed, we went to the bellhop desk to get rackets and balls to play a little tennis. The bellhops were very accommodating. We returned to the tennis courts to wait our turn, as there was a group of kids (lots of kids) finishing up. After 10 minutes, another group ignored us waiting and took over the courts. So when we asked, we were told the courts were rented out to (non-hotel) groups, so the courts were mostly unavailable. The group told us we could come back to use the courts at 8 pm. We didn't want to play so late. The hotel should not have 'tennis courts' as an accommodation if they rent the courts out so they aren't available for use by hotel guests. The hotel guests should have top priority use of courts. And the bellhops shouldn't give out equipment if the courts aren't available so we didn't waste time waiting.

Scottsdale Plaza Resort was fabulous! Excellent location, beautiful setting, comfortable size rooms and bedding. I even asked what brand of sheets so i can purchase. Wonderful amenities qnd excellent staff. We ate at JDs twice and our food was wonderful. Only suggestion i can think of is to have real coffee creamer in the rooms for coffee bar.

Overall this is a nice place to stay. At the moment they do not have a good pool open, so there is just small pools open with WAY to many people. I do often wonder why places like this feel justified in charging a full "resort fee" while not offering full resort services. The rooms are nice and room, but are dated. There is a desperate need to update and improve the rooms. They likely have not have anything done with them for over 20 years. As with most hotels, they are not cleaning the rooms, but you can request items or cleaning. We requested new towels one day but they never brought them. We did not eat at the resort as there are a ton of great restaurants in the area, so I can't speak as to how the food or service for that is there. Although it was comfortable, I think there are many other places to stay that are nicer and at a better value in the area.

Truly a lovely place, but if you’re seeking perfection, the room clock is not accurate and if you want to sleep better remove the blue light off the refrigerator
