The day of arrival. I left to attend a function. After I returned I wanted to wash my hands. Once at the basin I saw a roach run across the counter. I was shocked. I immediately made sure my luggage was closed and the clothing I had placed on hanger , i removed and put in plastic bags and sealed. I did not want them transported back home. I slept in the chair fully clothed rather than the bed for fear of possible bed bugs since there were roaches. I did not want to take any chances. I did take a shower on the day of departure. The shower spray was nice and strong with more than adequate hot water to complete my leisurely shower. The room was clean with a pleasant temperature setting already dialed in. Needless to say the bed would have given me a more restful sleep, but I did not want to risk it given the circumstances. Roach sighting was a killer for me.
