Friendly staff very helpful and talkative.............................
The hotel is a pain to find from Alma metro station as you land in the middle of a university complex and google maps stops working like you were in the Bermuda Triangle 😂 Once you find it (took me nearly an hour with the help of a few students and some pigeon English but when you find it it’s a gem! Staff are friendly the room was amazing! Very large and had all you need for a self contained room! The only gripe is there is no kettle or coffee to go with the shiny espresso machine provided which in my mind was diabolical but then coffee is life! Although you are on the top floor of student accommodation they are either all swarm to silence after 8pm or you just can’t hear anyone at all it’s amazing. So if you don’t mind finding the hotel and then Alma metro station again when you leave and the lack of coffee and the shop that isn’t created but is advertised as being in the hotel it’s a fantastic place to stay!! Ps no bed bugs as sooooo many hotels have in Brussels!! Bonus 😂😂
Amazing newly built hip hotel with kitchenette facilities. Near shops, good transport links, friendly staff. Super useful rooms, pleasant location, recommend
The hotel has a good future. Some things must be change( to finish all fixed, personal must be more professional, few rooms will be very good to do with sofa-2+2 children). But impression from stay was good.
We were a bit concerned when we checked in because the hotel is still being completed and there were many students about. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and comfortable our room was. The staff was very helpful, the area was great for running and strolling, and there are many public transportation options available close by. Thx hotel was close enough to NATO to be a great location, if you are going to be there.
Not so good. Room extremely dirty. Huge box in the corridor. Keys that did open rooms doors, etc Night staff was rude and gave incorrect information. Curtly informed us at 10.30pm that hotel DOES NOT provide drinking water bottle in rooms. Morning staff disputed her version but only when challenged that all my colleagues were provided water bottles. There was no where at that time of the night we could buy drinking water and forced to drink tap water.
Room is as pictured. It is a brand new hotel. Clean and spacious. Barhroom is large compared to most hotels in Europe. Not all amenities are available at this time.
It was a building site and you did not indicate this in the info. Could not open the windows so very bad air circulation.
The hotel is brand new. In fact, it's not even finished yet. Most of the interiors were still being worked on. My single room looked like it had just been released in a rush job. (I'm guessing the contractors are late and were clearly getting a little sloppy.) Once they are done (and if they can get their contractors to properly finish their work), it should be a very nice apartment hotel, with all the amenities for a longer stay (except for a safe, but maybe they will add that later?) One element of bad design that I hope they can still address is that there is are no outlets, light switches, or lights by the bed. This meant I had cables strung across the room to the bedside table, and promptly tripped on them as I went from the front door (where the only light switch is) to the bed in the dark. They need to, at minimum, add a small bedside lamp. The location is a little in the middle of nowhere if you are a tourist. I picked it for a short overnight stay before a morning flight since it was cheaper than airport hotels. It's about 3 Euro and 25 minutes by public bus to the airport. Unfortunately the morning of my flight the bus never showed up and I had to flag down a taxi. The hotel also offers a paid airport shuttle service. There is a metro station a 5-10 minute walk away that will take you directly into the city center, but it is a little hard to find (it's in the middle of a college campus) and the ticket machine may or may not accept your credit card or coins.
This will be a lovely hotel when it is finished but currently there are doors missing, wires hanging from the ceiling and no restaurant or shop, as advertised.
