Happy Customers
Loved our room as it was large and the bed comfortable. We had lots of room to spread out. Also appreciated the large bath with tub.

Clarence review
We are an older couple, 50 and 60 yrs old. Would have been great location if you were in your 20s or 30s. Hotel was just old. Had been well worn, needs to be refurbished. Didnt like that the back of the hotel opened onto a busy street with bars, and had no one there to stop partiers coming into the hotel or going up to rooms. Staff were friendly. Noise level was bad. We were in the back of the hotel, lots of singing to 3am keeping us awake.

A retreat in the city center
The Clarence is a little retreat in the city center. Close enough to Temple Bar to partake in the action but far enough that you don't get the rowdies and the noise. Our room was very nice and cozy. The view from our window was into a space between buildings (venting and such) with several pigeons hanging out. So the view was what it was and you got a super quiet night's sleep. That's part of staying in the city center. The staff at The Clarence are always super nice and helpful. Overnight parking was available at a nearby car park for a discount.
