We had a wonderful stay at Le Patio Bastille. The location is excellent, with several metro stations nearby, especially Nation, which made it easy to connect to different parts of Paris. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and truly felt like home. One of our favorite moments was opening the window at night and seeing the Eiffel Tower beacon in the distance. The bed was by far the most comfortable of our entire trip, and the bathtub was perfect for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. The only point to note is that the hot water boiler has a limited capacity, but this is easy to manage once you know how it works and did not affect our stay. Highly recommended!

It is a sort of boutique hotel with rooms in several separate buildings connected by court yards. People at the reception desk are very friendly with good smiles and helpful. Once you get used to it, it is only 5-10 min walk from the train, metro and bus station, Nation. A variety of cafes, restaurants in 10 min walking distance Rooms are small, but well equipped including a good-size microwave, stove, fridge, pot, pan and utensils. THere is a room for improvement, such as hall way carpet and room floor carpet, but the hotel perhaps doing the step-by-step renovation.
