The property is a bit hard to find and you definitely need s 4X4 car to get there. We stayed in the 2 room villa. The beds weren't very comfortable. It is SO windy in this area. Not the fault of the hotel, but we couldn't sleep through the night because it sounded like cars were flipping over. There is no AC so we had to keep the windows open. Wish there wouldve been screens on the windows. Showers were okay. Wifi was just okay as well. The kitchen area had everything youd need to cook yourself. Love the proximity to the town and the monteverde cloud forest. They served breakfast every AM and the staff was super nice. You can kind of see the sunset through some trees. Gated parking was a plus!

Workers fixing the gate at 6:40am right next to our bedroom using power tools on a Saturday. Excellent way tonwake up the guests! Staff was unhelpful.and rude about it.

The staff was very friendly. They have a nice balcony for relaxing. The breakfast was ok. The hotel is a little distance from town center which was no problem since we had a car.

Nice room but the place was hard to find. There was a tiny sign hidden by a tree on left side of road when you’re supposed to take a right. No idea that there was no hot water in the sink. When we told the staff there was no hot water, they assumed we meant in the shower and didn’t mention the sink has no hot water. We wasted a lot of water waiting for it to get hot, only to find out later it doesn’t have hot water. Washcloths would have been nice.

A bit hard to find but once you were inside the gates, you knew you were in a nice place. Staff was very inviting, courteous and very helpful. The room was tastefully done, and well prepared. Very clean, modern and very pleasant to stay in.

Like - clean, staff willing to serve breakfast 15 minutes before opening for breakfast so we could make our 7:30 am tour Poor - Room was very clean, but bathroom had sewer smell.
