Noise caused by student accommodation
The hotel itself was very nice. Unfortunately my stay was not good due to being put in a room that was outside the student flats. Because it was a lovely the students were partying until the early hours of the morning. It was reported by the security of the flats was not interested. If staying at the Comet ask for you room not to be overlooking the flats!

Excellent Hotel
The Comet is excellent hotel. Modern, clean with a restaurant and bar. There were lots of small touches that just makes this an excellent choice. Example : room lighting was excellent. Too many hotels have completely inadequate lighting in the rooms. Shower having both a fixed faucet and one you could hold in your hand. Some cookies with your morning tea/coffee in your room. AC that actually worked well and was not like having a plane engine in your room. Everywhere not just the rooms was clean. The restaurant had an adequate menu selection as did the bar. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We shall stay here again.

The Comet is a great place. Look so posh inside. So clean and pretty in the outside too. For a long day walking during a holiday and enjoying the Hatfield Park is great to come back to such a nice place and have a shower in this big square rainforest style shower. Oh is refreshing and so comfy to rest on that room. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Is affordable luxury. What a treat for holiday.
