Worst hotel experience ever. My room was full of mosquitoes and we were unable to sleep well. The air conditioning was not working which added to our discomfort. Additionally, at around 4:15 am, the light on the floor of the room started flashing suddenly. According to hotel management: "For the facility this complaint is not a valid pattern to ask for refund because it's a natural phenom that not depends on us."

Great for access to ferries/cruises.
Very convenient for taking ferries/cruises. Otherwise all the other action (food, shopping, site seeing) is a short walk away. Alibus stops right out front (takes you to/from airport). The taxi drivers right outside mostly want to take you in long excursions (ie Pompéi) and looked offended when we tried to take a « regular » taxi ride to the duomo. Not a problem, just slightly mismatched expectations - one of the cabbies was nice enough to explain it to us. Walk a little further and there are lots of other ‘regular’ taxis.
