Nice and affordable pet friendly hotel, steps away from the city's main attractions. We arrived to the hotel after the hotel's restaurant was already closed and we were too tired to venture out, but Coco-the-bartender kindly offered us a variety of complementary snacks at the bar along with a good variety of draft beer. The reception was friendly and professional. Hotel has no private parking, but there is a directly adjacent parking garage, where you can park at a cost of 8.50 EUR per day. The room was clean and of a descent size, by European standards. Free WiFi, flat screen TV, small fridge. A buffet breakfast was available for 20 EUR per person, but there are plenty of breakfast places available all over town, right outside the hotel. The Church of Our Lady is just a few blocks away, the Market Square is within 5-10 min walking distance. A very pleasant stay overall. Would recommend this hotel to others.
Totally rubbish front desk, the facility was reduced to the basic 1star hotel and still charge us the maximum. Then they realised they under charge one of the room and pretended it was a city tax. I have just checked and they robbed us of eur 25 for 2 adults . SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR
The outdoor pool wasn’t open when it’s ore than 30 degree, so I assume the pool is only for showing in description?
Great hotel in a fantastic location but even better staff! Efforts have been made to ensure social distancing, though extra thought needs to be given around the layout of these provisions as one such instance caused me to collide with a sheet glass panel and explode my nose.
The hotel staff were so polite, my even daughter received a free cuddly toy. The room was clean and comfortable. We used the bed and the sofa bed, which were comfortable enough (although I’d have slept in anything after my 1000km drive to get there). The hotel is in a good location. Close to the centre but not in a noisy location. Parking is underneath, but by a separate company. The breakfast is fabulous. Everything you could ask for: cooked, continental, pastries, waffles. They seemed to have everything. I will return to Bruges and when I do I will stay here again.
Room was too hot. Unable to ventilate as window was restricted and woul not stay open. Aircon was not active for cooling.
Double rack rate price but no services - bar closed, no room service- non of advertised services. Was lied to as was told this was on police orders. Not correct other hotels were offering services, hotel closed everything at 2pm due to a football match 1900 kick off.
Very clean and spacious rooms. Perfect location for visiting Bruge
Very friendly helpful staff, great location for the city and very handy having the car park underneath the hotel. Room was big, clean and a very comfy bed. A great stay thank you very much.
Cordial staff and lovely lobby/entrance. We were given a booklet with discounts to certain sites/attractions and the hotel also displayed the local events of the city. Staff was able to answers all of our questions and even make suggestions. The breakfast was good and was plentiful. Our room was average size and provided enough space for my family. Our bathroom had mold in the shower, but I think that is because the building is old and from poor ventilation after showers. The parking is perfect (underground) and not expensive (38 euros for three nights). There is a small grocery store nearby, tons of shops, and several restaurants within five minutes if walking. Bruges is a gorgeous city and I will definitely return!
