Below expectations for what we paid.
Hotel Front desk was limited in recommendation for dining in the area. The hallways had guest trash by the doors the entire time of our stay. The hotel has a no dog policy, however the room next door had a dog barking most of the night until the guests came back at 3:30AM and had a post party in their room. Had to call the front desk twice to have security to break up the party. Finally got back to sleep at 5:00am for a 6:30am wake-up call.

Weeknight at The Marker
Had a lovely stay at The Marker, great location, super cute hotel. The thermostat was a bit old and it never really got cool. It felt a bit warm and stuffy. But overall great stay. Will definitely stay again.

Dirty Room
I would not recommend staying here. We were excited to stay in San Francisco but there are most definitely better options than The Marker. Although on the hotels.com description it states there is self parking for 39 dollars, this is a bit misleading… upon arrival and inquiring about parking we were told there is no parking and the two places that are recommended were full. We asked for some guidance or a map or anything to help us find parking and we’re referred to a map website…parking is not the easiest in San Francisco. The hotel room was not clean. There were whole dates, date pits, elastic bands and other bits of garbage on the floor of our room- gross. The shower door tracks were thick with black mildew and in the process of finding out that our tv was non functioning we also found out that the remote control was imbedded thickly with food (or vomit, who knows- it looked disgusting) between the buttons. Our room only had two towels despite booking for four people. This hotel tarnished our San Francisco experience but now we know for next time.

Family Review
We upgraded to a large suite for $40 per night extra. Well worth it. Room was clean although smelt of stale cigarettes at the beginning. No kettle in room 😡 and no facilities to get a coffee apart from in the morning from 6am. No restaurant so had to walk out to get breakfast. The Trattoria Restaurant is only open between Wed and Sat and as we were staying from Sun to Tues wasn’t great for us
