So much noise. Terrible windows with no insulation or protection against noise. Construction work going on right outside. Slow elevator. Little to none vegetarian or vegan options in the breakfast. Only plus was the location.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Great location.
We had such a nice stay at this hotel. It's not a luxury hotel but is clean, and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable (a few blocks from the Rijksmuseum, and the tram stops right outside the front door). The service was so friendly and professional. We had 2 rooms: one for a single guest with a beautiful view of the canal. And one with 3 beds for a family...with no view (a low floor courtyard) but it was spacious. The air conditioning REALLY worked in both rooms. That's not always the case with every European hotel that claims to have AC. The breakfast had a lot of delicious options and a freshly squeezed orange juice machine. The coffee machine near the dining room is available to guests around the clock. But the breakfast staff makes an even better coffee. Top-notch. Best of all was the staff: Ivan, Snejana, and Bruno. They handled every request in a friendly and professional manner. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs. During our visit, there was major construction going on for a luxury hotel next door so check in advance. But we didn't experience any disturbing noise. I would definitely book this hotel again.
