So much potential, but falls short
The air-conditioning doesn't work properly. I kept waking up covered in sweat despite the temp being set to 65 degrees. I cleaned a brown substance that i hope was chocolate from the bathroom cabinet. Lots of stains throughout the hotel and chipping paint. My bathroom mirror wasn't even clean. Comfy bed and nice pool, i wish it was open later.

Nice but isolated.
Hotel was ok. Close to airport with a shuttle bus, but once at the hotel you are virtually on an island. Can’t walk to anything. Staff was nice and the shuttle is convenient.

Won't be back, needs a lot of updates
Major disappointment. Communication was awful and zero regard for customer service. Things started off badly when we were unable to get onto the courtesy shuttle two times - there were already more than 25 people waiting and it took 45 min to shuttle them to hotel and come back. No one communicated this. I would have taken a taxi or uber and not spent almost an hour breathing cigarette smoke and car fumes in the pick up area (with two tired kids). We chose this property (at a premium price I might add) to make use of the pool on the eve of an early flight out of Newark. I called the hotel at the time of booking to ensure the pool was back open and was told it was. All the communications I got leading up to the reservation indicated the pool had closed again, so we delayed arrival until later. When we arrived at 8:00pm, we found the pool to be closing, and due to the issues with the courtesy van and delays my children did not get to swim as planned. No one at the reception desk seemed even slightly concerned with any of this, she said "we can't update all the communication," and "we can't guarantee that there won't be a wait for the shuttle." The hotel itself was ok, out of date, didn't seem like the cleanest, and definitely not concerned with customer experience. We won't be back and I would encourage you to book elsewhere if you can.

Overall average stay only real issue was the parking situation if you return late you’ll probably not find any you’ll have to wait for one to be available competing with others on the good note there was an employee at front desk who was very helpful I believe she works the evening shift very kind and generous with her ability to make sure your stay is pleasant to bad I didn’t get her name unusual having an employee like her caught me of guard

Not what I expected
Arrived and check in was quick but wasn’t given wifi password with key, asked about the parking fee and wasn’t given the complete break down. Just stated parking 25 for overnight stay but no mention of tax on top of the fee. The room only had one working outlet. When I finally connected with wifi it was very slow and going in and out. Ice machine was broken on my floor , so had to go down to the floor below to get ice. No recommendation flyer of restaurants or places to order food from around the area. I called and they only knew of a pizza place which the food was okay. The room was not stocked with full rolls of toilet paper. No complimentary water bottles just cookies. The pool was okay. Glad it was opened but it wasn’t necessarily a heated pool. I did like the location it was not too far from places. Overall I felt everything was overpriced and it was just basic.

Mixed bag
The renovated lobby is beautiful. The rooms have rust and tarnishing and separating bathroom fixtures and need lots of work! Front desk team and restaurant team were amazing! Thanks to Jessica Moreshet (?) for all of her patience, assistance and professionalism.
