Big room and comfortable beds! Bathroom was not cleaned every day...
Not a very cosy hotel. Crowded and noisy at breakfast - we had difficulty finding a clean table. When we checked in the kids received crayons and a colouring book, as well as a toilet bag with a comb, shampoo, and shower gel for children which they appreciated. We will probably look around for another hotel the next time, although this hotel is perfectly fine for families and the staff was friendly. So if we don't find a better (more cosy) option we will stay here again.
+ big room, good breakfast, great area, parking on the street - a little bit chill in the room, bed to soft
Everything about the hotel was exceptional, friendly and very helpful staff, large, clean & quiet room, very comfortable bed, great décor, fantastic breakfast, great facilities. I was very pleased with my 2-day stay & I hope to be back in the future. Highly recommended!
This stay was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms that l remember as nice, modern but yet cosy was in a need of renovation or at least a refreshing touch. The lounge and bar is still a nice area.
Amazing location and well maintained hotel. Breakfast need improvement.
In Sweden during the heatwave, I needed a hotel with air conditioning, this hotel has a/c and free breakfast. I walked from the train station, took about 10-15 minutes. The hotel let me check in early, which was great because I was sweaty and hot and needed to cool down and shower. Late check out at noon, which was also convenient. Not many restaurants nearby. You have to walk about 5-10 mins back to the train station to find a variety of places to eat or you can eat at the hotel restaurant. It’s an older hotel, but I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
2 weekends ago we had a great stay here and enjoyed it so much that we booked again for last weekend (just Friday this time) and we were given a perfect example of how important staff are to a successful hotel. On our first visit check-in took 2 minutes and we had an excellent, very large, Premium room. No problems, great service from the guy on reception. This time, different staff member. We were 25 minutes in line, treated like dirt, charged a deposit for each room which hadn't happened before, given a room that was less than half the size of the previous week, even though we booked "Premium Rooms" again, had our room keys cancelled "because you must check out at 12 o'clock" - but this was at 11:10 and our bags were still in the room, on the 7th floor. This same staff member made one woman wait 15 minutes to ask a simple question. Other groups in line were laughing at her insolent attitude. In general, the staff here are absolutely fine, the hotel is excellent value for money, but there's no way I'm paying another penny to be treated like that. This person is an absolute liability and will damage the hotel's business. We visit Malmo at least twice a month, usually 2 rooms, 2 nights, and there are some decent hotels in the city but unfortunately we won't be back to this one.
I was disappointed with the cleaning, there were flies and especially in my room. Fruit flies that i had to kill myself . There were 4 big ones really not happy with the hotel cleanness. I would give this hotel 2 star 1 for bed comfort and 1 for Air conditioning and location
Very mediocre for being a Radisson Blu property (I have stayed at several other Radisson Blu hotels around the world). Main building could need some renovation. The gym was disappointing - feels like a budget gym rather than what you would find at a good hotel. Breakfast area in the old building is nice, however. Rooms are large, but feel a bit worn (beds are superb though!). The person at check in was rude, asking loudly to check again if my Amex Elite card actually belongs to me. I understand that they need to do these checks, but the way of asking (especially in front of other waiting guests) makes all the difference. It could be handled discretely. Radisson Blu is a premium brand. This hotel should rather belong to their Park Inn chain.
