I liked the cozy tearoom for the breakfast and the convenient location. I didn’t like the added cost for parking
It is ideally situated and is pet friendly. Great care was taken to protect me during my stay and they have excellent cookies for a bed time snack. The rates are good and i will stay there again.
A quaint little gem! We traveled with our 2 year old and requested the Euro loft room. This worked very very well as we wanted a bit of separation of the sleeping area from the rest of the space (to accomodate early bedtime - tips for young families!). We requested to have the room with a water view and they came through. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but they did some renos to freshen up the space. Everything was basic but all what we needed. They even gave us some cookies and a little toy for our boy. Location was perfect, so close to the main harbour area. We also appreciated the free coffee and mini donuts in the morning. One thing that is lacking is there's no housekeeping for less than a week stay - we needed som vacuuming and new towels and they brought them to our room but we had to vacuum ourselves. Parking was no issue as well. There's a paid $12 underground parking, but there's tons of street parking around the property (free & no time limit after 5 pm) Other than that, our overall stay was great and will stay here again in the future. Thank you Huntingdon Manor team!
Great hotel and perfect location. Lovely garden space
It’s old but the staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean.
Great hotel, it is quiet and the staff are friendly. The beds could use an update - the mattress was saggy.
we love staying by the inner harbour. Liked the hotel last time we stayed there. This time was not as nice at all for the price we paid. No real services at all while you are there and not clear on who gets the breakfast and who doesn't. Understand with the covid but if you are paying more money and felt like you are basically ignored while there, some rooms are showing some much needed upgrades also, thanks,
Really clean, and great location for Victoria
This place is discretely "hidden" behind the heritage house on the main street. Such a delightful room and the location is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be staying here the next time I come to Victoria.
Due to Co-Vid 19 , there was a lot of changes. Overall it was good. Restaurant was closed although Pendray's was open. But due to it's great location, there were lots of various meal venues Ranging from the Fisherman's Wharf (try Barbs Fish & Chips and other venues all great choices!) to the restaurants along Government Street.
