Beautiful resort; loud rooms
The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in the newly renovated tower and the rooms are really nice; very spacious. The pools are gorgeous and the location is prime. The bed was quite soft, though tolerable. My biggest complaint is definitely that the walls are very thin. We could hear the neighbors open and close their balcony doors every time and of course, they had a baby who was up several times each night. Definitely not one of the quieter hotels I've stayed in. The beautful resort feel outweighes the negatives so overall I'd recommend this hotel.

Incredible location in Lahaina and a great resort! Great staff across the board but I must say the pool staff was INCREDIBLE. They did an amazing job to ensure safety and experience during this time.

Wonderful but not worth the price
For near $1,000 per evening, I expected more re communication and availability of amenities, timing of room availability, and proactive customer service. The bar staff turned over so often so drinks were very inconsistent. The food menus at the onsite restaurant/bar varied daily from full menu to only 1-3 options without explanation. Given we stayed during Covid, we tried to appreciate what was available and roll with everything, but again - for $1,000 a night, we expected more. The room was very clean, and incredibly fresh, comfortable, and bright and the view was spectacular.

The reconstruction is finished and it is amazing! Pools for adults, pools for kids, 2 slides. Fake cave with a secret pool under waterfalls. Beautiful beach. Flamingos, fishes, parrots, flowers everywhere. Landscape garden. Beautiful Hawaiian ceremony every sunset. Live music in restaurant. Nice beach trail. 7 minutes walk to Black Rock with turtles, and cliff jumping. Ocean was calm, but there is a small reef in 5 minutes walk with small waves where we took surfing lessons and rented the board. Plaza is the next building with a few extra restaurants, excursions, souvenirs and sunset cruise boarding. We also walked in Lahaina, (10 minutes drive). Banyan Park is small but impressive. Restaurants are the same price as in Massachusetts. Our tests were not ready and they allowed us to quarantine in the room until we got negative results.
