Small hotel with everything needed but it was not as clean as expected and looked very cheap
I actually found a cockroach in the bathroom. Cleanness is one problem
spent one night with no heat, next morning we were given a different room
Difficulty of communication made for a tough process checking in.
Nice quiet get a way for myself. Clean room
The room was advertised as 1 king bed, and it was a queen. The toilet did not flush properly.
Quick, friendly, pandemic-conscious check-in. Lovely and clean room.
Standard cheaper but good hotel. I would go there again.
I have enjoyed this hotel in the past and expected that the pandemic would lead them the best version of themselves. Alas not! In spite of signs about the strict mask policy, too many people (including apparent hotel staff) weren’t wearing masks. Unacceptable. Secondly, we had no hot water for the entire weekend. Cold showers. Finally, and definitely least importantly for us, someone had obviously been smoking in the hallway or near our room. In 2020? The room stunk in a way that smells cheap and dirty. It’s already stressful traveling during the pandemic. While so many companies are taking pains to ensure safety and build trust with customers, somehow thus Holiday Inn missed the memo.
The room was a nice size and fairly clean with the exception of the bathtub. There was hair in the tub and on the wall. I also was upset that during check in the fire alarm was going off so the elevators were out of service. I had to walk up 6 flights of stairs to go to my room. Another issue I had was my room happened to be by the ice machine so all times of the night I could hear people getting ice. My last issue was my last night there on Sunday, not only was I awaken to the fire alarm going off again for about 30 minutes or so in the early morning hours but then to be awaken again by a group of people getting ice right by my room. Dee at the front desk was helpful and apologetic but it just wasn't a comfortable stay due to the distractions.
