The hotel is great, clean and good location. However we had pretty unpleasant experience at the pool - they only allowed 2 towels per room and we booked a family room for 4pax. Loved how spacious my room was. And the view of the beach was lovely. The pool was nice but sadly mostly in the shade, not receiving enough sun. The hotel was located very near a food court, so that was very handy when it came to meals. However, Hompton is situated quite a distance from Georgetown, so it's not so convenient if you have lots of things to do there.

There was a bus down the road from our hotel meaning that we could we could take the bus down to Georgetown. Nice swimming pool, beach front with scenic seating area, food court in front of hotel with other local restaurants in the vicinity, bus stops close by if you want to try the local service.
