When I complained and put review online the manager Zsida acted very rudely the very next morning and when I approached reception he asked if I was in room 108; I said yes and he said that he read the review and said AC not working yet, I said no and rudely stopped me and said I am busy with other customer; although I did not even initiated conversation with him. I will never stay in this hotel nor suggest anyone

The good and bad
I thought our stay was nice. The hotel is in a great location and even though it is in an old building you can tell management does their best to try to keep it appealing to the customers. The breakfast was not great, I’ve ate a lot of hotel breakfast’s in Europe and this was one of the worse. The choices were there minus bacon but the quality was just subpar, I expect more when breakfast at a hotel costs 15 dollars a person. This quality breakfast should be free. The buffet workers were in such a hurry that one reached across my arm while I’m putting bread in my mouth grab my plate and I had to fix my arm so I didn’t knock plates all over the place. I do want to say that some of the reviews on this site are absolutely wrong and almost made me not want to stay there. A couple reviews state that there is not an elevator and they had to walk up too many stairs. There are two elevators that go to all floors. Another review stated that there rooms were two bright and the curtains were thin. There’s blinds that completed black the room out. The best and worse part of the hotel is the proximity to the subway. Budapest has one of the best subway systems in the world and the hotel is a step away. This also makes it the worse part about the hotel. We were on floor 1 above the lobby and every 5 minutes our room sounded and felt like a train was in the room. Items literally vibrate throughout the night.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is situated very close to bus and metro stops and really convenient for both airport and train station. It was also easy to walk to the main sights and restaurant areas. The hotel is on the corner of 2 busy roads so some rooms could possibly be noisy. The room we stayed in was at the back of the hotel so quiet, very spacious and clean
