Exceptional 10.0
One Great Toronto Trip!
Great location, near to subway, trams and UP train. After a 2 stop subway ride, you are within walking distance to the Roger's Centre (think Blue Jays or concerts), Aquarium, CN Tower, and more. The Hop On Hop Off stop 2 is only a block away. There is shopping close by, many bars and restaurants, try The Hair of the Dog's or Mick E Fynn's patio. The old Maple Leafs Garden is just around the corner. Now a great Loblaw's store, check out the original location of centre ice!

Spacious room but had an outdated feel
Room was spacious. Even though it was clean, the dim lighting made it feel not so clean & outdated. (We were allocated a room in the South Tower, so not sure if this is the older wing, as the hotel description had said renovated rooms.) The corridors also looked old & outdated. We were given a room behind the lift shaft & could hear the lifts moving up & down. From the 11th floor, we could also hear external noises quite clearly. (We had just stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Montreal just before this Toronto one, & there was a vast difference in the standard/condition of the rooms.) Location was OK, although this section of Yonge St can be a bit quiet after dark.

Great overall
We had a great stay overall. Only thing was that we were across from the elevator and it was noisy, even in the middle of the night.
