Queen Anne Hotel
A Royal getaway!
We love the Queen Anne. It is right next door to Japanese town and about 10 minutes away from the Fillmore district. The hotel itself is quite lovely and comfy. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They make us feel like royalty. Thank you John, Benjamin and Michael! We'll visit soon! 🤗💕

Victorian charm. good for business or pleasure
I arrived late due to my plane's arrival being delayed several hours. although my check-in ended up being just after midnight, the front desk was available and attentive. although I stayed 1 night only for a business interview the next day, if I had a longer time free, I would have stayed additional nights. It was quiet, comfortable and full of Victorian charm and ambience. although allegedly haunted, I slept well in the large bed. The bedroom and attached bathroom were also sizable and there was a mini-fridge. the wi-fi was also adequate. The breakfast was actually replete with several warm and cold food items beyond the standard to-go coffee and day-old pastry, and the food was quite tasty, exceeding my expectations. The self-parking was an additional daily fee on par with similar self-parking lots in the area, and was not secured: this was only the drawback of my stay since the check-in or booking did not make the daily parking fee clear and was not included in my pre-paid hotel charges. Nevertheless, the price to stay here is actually pretty fair for SF market value, given that SF is one of the more expensive cities for travel overall. The hotel's neighborhood is centrally located either walking distance or trolly ride to activities. The neighborhood seemed safe, even walkable after dark ,although I would make sure you take a buddy with you if doing so, since it is a major urban area after all. I would likely stay here again for business or pleasure.

Queen Anne Hotel
The first day that I stayed at the Queenanne, I was giving a beautiful room in the state couldn’t have been more pleasant. It was room 214. The second night I stayed I was keeping the room that smelled like cat urine, and even though I mentioned it to the woman who runs the hotel, she didn’t care. The room was extremely small dank, possibly moldy, and it smelled like cat urine. I will never stay there again. The piano is beautiful, the tea is fantastic, the breakfast is fabulous. If you were lucky enough to get into room 214, then stay there.

An eclectic little place with an offbeat character
Eclectic. My first thought upon entering the lounge for cookies and a glass of sherry was that this would be a great spot for a murder mystery evening. The gals at the front desk are very friendly and check-in/out is convenient. The rooms are very clean. The furnishings in the room are in pretty good shape and the bed was comfortable for us. Parking across the street was convenient and it was very easy to run around the city via ride sharing from the hotel. We would stay there again.
