DC weekend
Excellent location. Free breakfast was good with alot of choices and the staff was friendly. The negative is that the bedcwas extremely hard. The heating/cooling unit was loud. And the plumbing needs a upgrade. Overall it was a good value for the price.

great place for mini vacation, fun for the family
The hotel was clean the workers were professional, the complimentary breakfast was very good. The only problem I had was my key card was deactivated for some reason and I had to call and get another. Other then that I had a exceptional experience at your hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to everything.. If you are a Chinese food lover then china town is right there. Plenty of other restaurant around. Lots of chooses for your dining experiences. The sports stadium is really close to the hotel. Plenty of watering holes around to quinish your thirst. Nice places. Union station is within walking distance. The Metro and others modes of transportation are easily accessible. The museums are all within walking distance.

My place to stay in DC
Loved staying in DC over Christmas. The hotel is located in China Town and within walking distance to so many things. (We walked to the US Capitol area. Slight walk but not too far) The rooms were very nice, comfortable, new, and updated. The staff was very pleasant; it was nice to see they offered DC police breakfast in the morning. Got to dine with a few of the finest. Parking is limited and expensive but I stayed and paid for four nights and my car was safe. They offer in and out service but parking in DC can be a nightmare, so I kept it there most of the time, slight tipping is nice for the valets and often forgotten. The attached restaurant had good food and nice bar. We had lunch there as soon as we arrived. Hot breakfast was good but I'm always hoping for biscuits and gravy (that would put this place at the top for me). Very secure hotel. I felt very safe. Downtown DC can be sketchy in some areas, especially at night with kids. Average uber fare for me was $10.00 plus tip almost everywhere, Georgetown AMC was $12.00. Unless someone can point me out a better place for a better price, I'll be booking my stays here when I visit DC

A good choice
Convenient location. Good wifi. Safe in room. Under renovation, but not disruptive. Good breakfast, but did not like the use of single-use plates, bowls, cutlery and cups.Several restaurants close by.

I generally thought the hotel was very nice and was well-situated for a quick overnight trip to DC. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The hotel was undergoing some renovations, but the renovations themselves weren't overly intrusive. The issue I had was noise. I understand that the hotel is in a busy metropolitan area, so some street noise was to be expected. I'm fairly used to sirens and street noise, because I live in a busy city myself. Unfortunately, even though I was on the top floor, I could hear a series of very loud delivery trucks (I assume for the bakery/other restaurants next door) nearly every hour from 4AM on. It seems to me that there is potentially some insulation problem, because the noise was strikingly loud. I amped up the fan, but it didn't provide enough white noise to block out the noise. If you decide to stay here, try to avoid getting a room that faces the building next door.
