On the whole a nice place
Our stay was great. The staff was outstanding. The construction was a bit annoying especially early in the morning but that’s the price for progress I suppose. Car parking price is way too high and the “resort fee” is a joke that just lets the hotel advertise a fraudulent low price. Be honest with the price and advertise “no resort fee”.

There renovation going on so a lot of construction and noise during the day but if you're out and about you'll miss it. The workers are wonderfully kind and accommodating. Local bars are outstanding and convenient stores nearby

Queen at the head of Waikiki
Until August 2018 renovations may spoil your stay between 0830-1630 6 days, get out and about during these times; thereafter improvements should be of major benefit to this hotel raising their accreditation. Area is spot on to get anywhere or do anything you need to in the area or further afield.

Construction noise, noisy guests, couldn’t sleep
The building is nice enough, in a nice area, near the beach. But they are doing a lot of construction right now. I had to listen to LOUD drilling and hammering from early in the morning, into the evening. After the drilling and hammering finally stopped, the neighboring guests, and people in the hallway, were auguing loudly all night. I couldn’t sleep. Note: Parking is an extra $30 per day.
