There is a men under wear on a corner of the room, roaches, really bad smell
I've stayed at Quality Inn Suites in many different states. It's a hotel that has great rooms that's moderately priced, offers a great breakfast, with staff that offers wonderful hospitality and are very accommodating, which is why I chose to stay here during my visit to Charlotte. However, the Queen City airport location failed to even meet the quality that I've been accustomed to. It's an old building that has done every little to bring it to the look and feel of what it offers online. The rooms have not been renovated to match what is advertised on the online site. Old fixtures, not so comfortable beds, older microwave and fridge. No breakfast ( likely due to covid). Unwelcoming staff that "just" did their jobs. Is the worst one I've stayed at. There is s Crackle Barrel and a Waffle House on the same street as well as the option of in room food service through Bankers Raw Bar & Billiards which had pretty good food ($15 min order w/$3 delivery fee). I had to go to the lobby to get a privacy door hanger as it was not on the inside of the door in the room. I have another trip planned to Charlotte, but WILL NOT be staying here.
Worn out
The room was visually clean but had roaches. It was a non smoking room but smelled of old smoke and some kind of chemical spray. I'm praying that we don't take any unwanted company back to our homes, and hoping not to smell this weird combination of old smoke and deodorizer in our belongings. Seems like there is also some activities that happen around this hotel. Many people just loitering around the area of the room that we had. Otherwise the service was great.
Rodent found in my room 10 minutes after walking in. I was relocated to the second floor...this room smelled of high incense. Some door levels open the door by pulling down, some by lifting up....you’ll probably have to try both directions if you’re desperate for a place to stay. Not worth The minimal cost to stay there.
I got bit by a bedbug and they didn't even try to help me
I liked the property I just didn’t like the fact that the rooms were not updated everything else was good clean I bought some air freshener spray so I could get the cigarette odor out the room when we checked in.
I loved my stay me and my boyfriend slept like babies.
Nice property with quick 24 hour shuttle. Disappointed no breakfast was available. Also, the plastering of notices on the entrance door, the lobby and front desk was annoying. Hard to understand the front desk clerk with a mask on and a double layer of plexiglass separating us. Otherwise nice room!
Quick check in..room was nice and cool..
