Have stayed her a few times and is always pleasant, clean and warm, nice staff and very handy location to shopping area. Walk to bars and restaurants. Hotel restaurant has nice food and breakfasts are good value. Recommend this hotel.

Was hesitate to book this hotel after read all the review,but, still decided to give a try with considered the brand name of Millennium, which suppose is a reputable hotel chain. The location and the common area in the hotel is great. Yet, when entered into the room, was stunned. The condition is very run down and far from reasonable expectation. Worst, there is no WiFi coverage inside the room. Called the reception twice and went down to highlight in person, yet, the genuine answer from the front desk always is "there might have some technical issue, which the techinician are attend to it". Ended up, the whole stay unable connect to WiFi inside the room. Hope the hotel can improve.

Mostly bad, comfy bed.
The good: comfortable, clean bed. The bad: very tired, scratched furniture, worn and dirty light switches, mould on bathroom ceiling, broken around the door frame, security chain broken, light out above the toilet, pin in the carpet. Not the luxury hotel as advertised, on checkout we were asked about our stay and I mentioned above, the staff were quick to acknowledge the rooms are below standard and hoped to welcome us back once refurbished. Very disappointed and won’t be staying again.

Good plain room but poor facilities
A comfortable room but cleaning service very slow. Only one light duvet on the bed. I froze! It is winter. We could not get wi fi in our room. We reported this to reception on each of the 3 nights there.?I was reassured there was absolutely no problem. Actually there was as another receptionist finally admitted. The dishonesty was not appreciated. Wi fi facilities should be provided or if not we shoul be told up front. Buffer breakfast was terrible and extra charge for coffee…very poor compared to similar hotels around nz

The check in process took more than 30mins. First the room key card didnt work, then when we accessed the room it wasnt what we'd booked (one bed rather than two). Each time we went back to the main counter we had to wait in line for others to finish. Frustrating.
