Good nostalgia!
A really beautiful hotel and a very comfortable room at a good price. My only complaint is the ottoman that a designer decided to put in the walking path between bed and bathroom. In the middle of the night I kicked it so hard my toe bled. Mostly my fault, but in the light of day it still feels like a poor placement of heavy furniture. Like I said, stay here it's a great hotel!

Poor 2.0
Hassled for having a Service Dog + no cell service
This stay was abysmal. I travel with a service dog for a disability (he is licensed, trained, registered, etc), and I called the hotel before my stay to let them know that I had one, to disclose what services he provides, and to have him added to the reservation. I had no trouble checking in with him, and the front desk guy concierge was lovely, but every time the staff had a shift change, there was an issue. The staff kept questioning me about the dog, despite him being in a service vest and on the reservation. After one shift change, the staff had not yet seen the dog, so they didn’t know about him. His other handler took him for a walk, and when he returned from relieving himself, the front desk staff SAW HIM. I then got a call to my room from them with the staff saying “do you have a dog in your room, because we heard barking and we want to make sure you don’t have a dog”. This was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! An absurd lie. They had just visibly seen my dog walk past them, which is why they called… He hadn’t even been in the room (he was out walking), when they claimed they heard barking. #1 My dog doesn’t bark… EVER. Unless someone is attacking me… He is a service dog and conducts himself as such. #2 Even had he barked, which he didn’t, there is no possible way they could have HEARD him barking from all the way at the front desk. #3 They made this claim right after they saw him walk back inside the building. The handler was being stared down as he walked past.

Quick, enjoyable visit!
Front desk staff was wonderful! Bed was not very comfortable and incredibly squeaky (room 621). Wish there was ice dispensers on more than just 1st floor. Had a knee wrap ice pack that the front desk attendants would put in the freezer for us (knee injury needing ice after walking each day). After a full day in their freezer, it was very cold but never frozen. Hard to imagine how that freezer could keep necessary things frozen. Going down to 1st floor to fill bags with actual ice was inconvenient and that melted quickly too. Room was small but well organized, bathroom was clean and shower always had hot water. Overall, good stay!
