Great Staff
Not enough breakfast items but staff was friendly and helpful when there were no plates, honey, ect.. Wish they had scrambled eggs and sausages rather than just build eggs. Over all was a good stay! Will be coming back soon! :)

Convenient but substandard
The hotel was convenient enough, easy access off I-10, and the staff that checked us in were pleasant and helpful. There are any number of hotels all along I-10 through El Paso, and it is clearly not the most attractive part of the city. We were there only overnight, as we were passing through town, so we were not troubled by the "transient" nature of the immediately surrounding area. That is not at all to say, however, that we felt unsafe. The only reason one would be out on the street would be to go to the Denny's next door. We did take a back street to drive a few miles south to an area which had a fair number of very nice restaurants and some shopping. The room, however, was in need of a makeover. There had been some kind of leak in one of the walls, leaving plaster puckering and shedding onto the carpet. The carpets were filthy; a few minutes without shoes and socks (never a good idea) left our feet black. There were 2 desk chairs which were quite comfortable, but the one other chair was an old recliner that was dirty and would not recline no matter how hard you pulled on the side handle. I suspect that it is an old property, probably not something that La Quinta built, and certainly not up to the standards of other La Quinta properties that we have stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it, and I definitely wouldn't book this property again.

Short staffed
Toilet clogged due to bad pipes per staff. Unable to move due to overbooking and no maintenance staff available til morning. Had to use the lobby bathroom. Bad experience at this la Quinta. Won’t be staying here again.

Very Good8.0
My only complaint is that there was around 5 or 6 people in the breakfast bar at 9:00 am serving themselves, when the attendant came in to pick up everything. People literally were in line and she just picked up everything! A couple of minutes for these people to finish serving themselves would of not hurt anyone!

Next time I’ll pass
The area didn’t look the best. The room clearly needs to be updated. There was an old worn out recliner chair made of fabric in the room. It was dirty. The walls and sideboards were dirty. There were quite a few loud guests outside, but since it rained I think that stopped them from staying outside. Thank goodness for that.
