Wasn't a fun experience
No wifi in our room (5th floor) and no one at the desk could explain why or help us. I chose hotels on this trip based on wifi access. I could only use it if I was down in the lobby. Was there on a Saturday, and there wasn't much service available for food and drinks either. Seemed like everything was poorly managed. Then to top all of that off - the fire alarm went off at 8am and we had to evacuate. We never did receive any kind of explanation for that or some type of reconciliation.

Very good experience. A handrail in the shower would have been beneficial. No issues with the cleanliness .

2/10 Poor

Don’t get a room near the nightclub
Not so good, arrived at 6.45pm room wasn’t ready, was given a drink voucher, for two drinks, as they finished the room. Ordered a drink for myself and the wife, and was charged £6.20 as the drinks voucher only covered limited drinks. We where told go and order a couple of drinks, they didn’t tell us they were limited to certain drinks . The room was very tired looking , stain’s on carpet, carpet coming away from wall. The outside of the door was dirty. But much worse than this there is a night club opposite at street level, the noise is horrendous, the room should have triple glazing. This night club closed at 2.30 am . So very little sleep for me and my wife. Called reception at 2.15 am , about the noise, night porter offered no assistance in this matter. Next morning spoke to the manager, told her that I wouldn’t say in that room another night, we got moved to the opposite side of the hotel, this was a huge improvement.I was offered no compensation at all, considering We paid nearly £600 for 2 night with breakfast, the hotel has no shame. I would advise not to use unless you can guarantee a Riverside room.

2/10 Poor

Rooms have paper thin doors so you can hear everything going on in the entire hotel. Worst night sleep ive had in a while. Vanity unit in the bathroom overlaps the toilet, be careful not to trap your leg when you stand up!
