Didn’t get the room we asked for. Needed 2 queens and got a king. Was told because holiday weekend and we checked in late. So what good is a reservation. Offered us a cot free. LOL. Who wants to sleep on a cot Only one checkin person on duty on a busy weekend Long line for service at 6pm

A cold welcome
In our assigned room the front panel of the heater had been taken off so that the wiring was exposed. The heater was not working so the room was cold. Three lamps were unplugged. The front desk said that an engineer would come soon. No one came to fix the heater. We were finally in a warm room an hour after we checked in. The room was spacious and comfortable.

There was no controlling the temperature it was hotter than sun in our room the TV did not work we got help with a maintenance brought in a fan there was a hole in the linen had to get that replaced then they had an office to a different room because it still won’t cool down then one side of the bed it was a big wet spot disgusting and the lady at the desk very very rude told us to deal with it

Needs a bit of work
We have been staying at this hotel due to its convenient location midway between our home and our daughters home for nearly 15 years now. Although it was older it was always kept in very good shape and was a comfortable stay. It’s still is for the most part, however I think like many places it suffers from being understaffed. The fitness center needs a major upgrade and the existing equipment needs to be maintained. The towels need to be replaced, they have clearly been washed and dried thousands of times and feel quite rough when used . This is a good place in a good location with a very good history. A bit of an overhaul and some repair/maintenance on existing equipment and some furniture would make it that again along with hiring additional staff to help the people already there who are being overworked in my opinion .

Heat and Air Condition Units in Room Don’t Work
The hotel is going through renovations so it is understandable that the rooms are dated, but the room was clean and quiet which is important to me. My complaint is the heat and air conditioning unit is run as a building unit and individual rooms cannot control the temperature. I woke up at 1 AM with the heater blasting. By 5AM my Tom was 90 degrees. I called the front desk and they sent someone to my room and they ended up taking the unit off the wall to turn off the heat. My husband stayed at this same hotel a couple weeks ago and had the same issue with the temperature, but it was hot outside so the air conditioning was blasting and his room was freezing. Someone was sent to his room and they replaced the battery to the unit. This issue is a known problem to the hotel and they should do something to fix the problem while waiting to renovate the rooms.

Renovations Can't Come Soon Enough!!!
The woman training at the front desk was lovely. I was running off to dinner and did not notice until I got back (late) that the room was a disaster!!! The couch had a 12x6 tear and a 7x2 rip. There was only 1 face towel, holes in the walls that were covered over by 2x2 squares of wall paper. There was a large gathering outside in the courtyard and people were screaming and getting out of hand still at midnigh and you could hear them through the balcony door. They advertise a bar/restaurant but there was no restaurant. And the pillows were the worst. I realize they are going through a renovation but do NOT put people in your worst rooms or at least on check-in offer them an option. The couch was disgusting with the rips..... Upon check-out I asked to have the day manager call me when they got in but no one has called. I was in room 466 with a balcony (and the door was propped open to the outside porch when I got there)
