Hotel near Mastre train station
Great hotel outside of Venice for reasonable pricing and comfortable, but clean rooms. Breakfast in the morning is simple but sufficient to start your date. Train and Trams to Venice runs every 10-20 minutes and for a one way fare ride of €1.50 in average. This is better option for those who are cost conscious and prefer modern/clean hotels to the bed&breakfast or boutique hotels inside Venice. Walking to the Maestre train station is just 7-10 minutes walk.

Fab hotel
Fab hotel. New, modern and spacious, and less than 5 minutes to walk to Mestre train station, or a large supermarket and McDonald’s in the other direction. Room was spacious, beds comfortable- even the sofa bed. Great shower. Only downside is there are not enough lifts for a 9 storey hotel. But would definitely stay here again.

This brand new facility was extremely impressive. It is complete with everything needed to do some cooking. I know, who cooks while on holiday and you have to wash the dishes too. We arrived at the Mestre Train Station and the hotel was a very short walk from there. The front desk was being managed by an extremely helpful gentleman named Helio, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The start of the # 43 bus route begins at Mestre and its first stop is approx 50 meters from the front door of the Staycity. You can take this same bus and is approx 25 minutes from S. Roma. If you don't mind being 25 minutes from away from the action of Venice and want to save a ton of money, stay here.

Pleasant stay at Staycity Aparthotel Mestre
Friendly helpful hotel employees of all types. Front desk staff did a great job even though management has them burdened with a cumbersome registration procedure. Breakfast choices were good and staff there was outstanding. Our room was spotless thanks to the the skilled housekeepers.

One pillow on my bed had 4 kinds of different lengths of hair on it... GROSS... Rooms are so warm the AC doesnt work... No toiletries what so ever!!! Literally an apartment room for layover time near the train station. Skip it considering there are so many options nearby the same area! Not worth the buck.
