A short getaway with a surprise finding..
We were surprised at check in when the host casually mentioned that the balcony of our ocean front suite is off limited due to the painting crew are still working on getting the painting completed. It was suggested to us that we closed the curtains during the day from 8 to 4 p.m just in case the painters happened to be working outside. They don't have another ocean front for us.

A Great Experience
We were welcomed by Dexter at the desk who was very pleasant. He recognized my Honors Club membership and promptly upgraded us. Despite the renovations going on, it was a wonderful stay! Every employee we encountered, even the Bellman or the reception on the phone was very helpful and pleased to help. We were saddened that we couldn’t stay longer.

Goodbye Hilton
Upon checking in we were advised the balcony could not be used and we would only receive one room service after 4 days. Room had two paper cups and no cutlery. Our room was accessed twice without our permission to move and then remove the terrace furniture. Our ocean views we had paid for could not be fully utilized as our terrace could not be accessed. Oh, the welcome gift upon arrival had “run out”. It really had a Fawlty Towers feel to it. Place looks tired and run down. I think this might be our last Hilton stay

Great room and location!
This is one of the best locations to stay with convenient vicinity that offers a lot of restaurants, retails, entertainment spots, and of course, the beach. The room I booked was at 35th floor, and this was my ideally favorite type of room that included everything I needed. Very peaceful, and the ocean view from balcony was spectacular. I will definitely come back here on my next visit!

Great stay with a view
The Staff is very helpful, beds comfy and high room with an ocean view is 100% worth the upgrade. We upgraded part way through our trip and loved it. Brought our own conditioner, but always do with long hair. The location is great and there is so much to see and do near by, all walkable. We did a Jurassic Park tour at Kualoa Ranch (check what all they offer before choosing). Visiting Pearl Harbor was great, plan ahead and plan to spend the whole day to have time for all the things. Lots of great food and shopping near by as well.
