Very Good 8.0
Great location
A few minutes from Shinjuki train station - this is a very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and the staff are helpful - although at the reception they were very nervous ! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Extra amenities are given if required and free bottles of water are given daily. We only had breakfast one day ad to be honest it was disappointing - limited variety and very busy. There is a very useful shuttle bus from the hotel to Shinjuki - its take 5 minutes and runs 3 times an hour. Good hotel, lack a bit of character but great location and easy to get to places from the station area.

Don't stay at the Hyatt Regency in Tokyo
I was very disappointed in the amenities at the Hyatt Regency in Tokyo. The staff was friendly but not well spoken in English. There was no Bar in the hotel but just a room with small tables to order a drink and it closed early at night around 8:00 PM. I had to go across the street to the Hilton to get a drink at night and I highly recommend the Hilton as it catered more to the Americans with a really nice bar and live music at night. Communication at the Hyatt was very poor as they told me the spa jacuzzi stayed open until 10:00 PM which was also posted on my room information but I went there at 9:00 PM and they wouldn't let me in. They said the last appointment was at 8:30 and they closed at 9. The hotel room was OK but they closet space was very small and had some type of shaft vent going right thru the middle of it. So there was only about 12-14 inches of space to hang your clothes. So, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay at the Hilton which catered more to the Americans.

Superb hotel and services
Staff was nice, polite and helpful. The location is great. the free shuttle to the Station is convenient. Hotel is clean. Hotel room is clean too. We had a really nice experience at this hotel (and I traveled a lot).

Top marks and lovely stay.
This place is a lil out of the action but really beautiful, friendly staff, clean rooms. The restaurants are pricey and not as delicious as I had hoped. Our room had an amazing view (see pic). The park next to it had a nice flea market. Park is lush and green and nice for morning walk. There is a bus that goes to Shinjuku station every 20 minutes or so. Very convenient. I’d definitely stay here again.
