Was hoping for much better.
In general the staff were very rude when we tried to ask about early check in. I don't mind that it wasn't available but they were rude when we called the day before when they told us to call in the morning. Rude when we called in the morning when they said come to the desk when you get there. Rude again when we did that. We got the wrong room, there was black mould on the walls, and lots of black spots on the sheets and pillows. Generally was just not a pleasant stay. Will not bother staying there again.

Nice hotel. Not very nice customer service.
Had a lovely stay here for the marathon in April 2019, unfortunately my 2020 stay was very disappointing. Due to coronavirus I was mot able to fulfill my accommodation in April 2020. I was then advised that a refund would not be offered. The only option being a voucher for a future stay before the end of 2020. I have no need to travel back to Rotterdam so it is very annoying that I will now lose over £400 for a booking that was not fulfilled for no fault of my own.

Hotel is under renovation at the min They tell you this when checking in but state that you probably won't hear anything and it is only taking place mon -fri from 10am til 5pm On both night stay, contractors started at 7.30-45 am and went on all day Drilling , sawing and hammering as if it was in the next room Very disappointing stay and when asking for some kind of compensation or refund was told because it was booked through Expedia and prepaid , they could do nothing about it Perhaps if Expedia knew of this renovation , been informed of it by the hotel , or in some way let regular customers know , then maybe we could have booked somewhere else and got a good nights sleep Not happy !!!!
