Excellent hotel, well organized, extremely quiet, the view from our room was really great, the staff is very friendly and goes out of its way to help, the food is really good, the swimming pool is wonderful, loved the 2 saunas! We were very happily surprised y the quality and level of attention at the Radison Blu. Very well located with a view across the canal, yet reachable by foot from the rail station and convenient to town. The room was goodly sized and very well laid out making excellent use of the space. A small comfortable seating area in the room was a plus. We enjoyed a high quality, beautifully presented (fresh fruit with the dessert cake; a cookie with the coffees), fairly priced light morning snack in their Cafe Dante. Weather permitting, there were outside tables and chairs for enjoying the view across the canal. The hotel lived up to its 5 star rating.

The hotel exceeded my expectations by far! The room and bathroom do not have the typical hotel flair. The bathroom is functional but aesthetically pleasing. There is a wellness area with a pool and two different saunas that can be accessed with a separate elevator. Everything including the wellness area was very clean. The staff was very friendly and efficient. In terms of location the hotel is just a short walk from the old town with some major sightseeing/tourist attractions. Parking on the outside parking lot is six euros per day. It’s also not too far from the rail station but with luggage most people would want to take a cab instead of walking. There is no bakery next door - The breakfast buffet is excellent but for people who just want a cup of coffee and a croissant perhaps not worth the price.
