A Fantastic stay at The Skef!!
We had a fantastic stay at the Skeffington Hotel. All the staff were great from the friendly and helpful reception staff, to the dining room and the adjoining hotel. The accommodation was spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. The adjoining hotel is a wonderful location for a drink, watching sport or listening to music. We were not disturbed late at night by any noise from the hotel though that may be different in the warmer months. A big thankyou to The Skef for a wonderful stay in Galway.

Staff was very helpful and extremely upbeat and courteous. Parking in the area is a real problem. We finally found a spot in a shopping mall parking garage about two blocks away. When we checked in we were informed that the hotel had another off-site parking lot that we could use at a reduced price, but it would have been very difficult to relocate our car at that point. We stayed at many hotels during our trip, so not sure if this point applies here, but most had showers that did not have full enclosure, making it very difficult to shower without making a mess of the bathroom floor.
