    A great little cottage

A great little cottage in a pefect location with everything you need, including a copy of local hero. the views are fantastic with amazing sunsets, just a shame the Pennan Inn wasn't doing evening meals.

This stunning wee cottage is in such a perfect idealistic location. We woke up to beautiful sea views and amazing sunsets at the end of the day. Kate has thought of everything for an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend.

    Perfection in Pennan

The Wee Cottage is one of the most lovely rentals we have stayed in over the years. It was absolutely charming, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. For such a small property, it had so much to offer in the way of amenities, and we were lacking nothing (other than a teapot, which was the only thing missing in an otherwise wonderfully stocked kitchen)! Everything was in perfect condition, and we can't imagine finding a better place in which to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of Pennan.

    Scotland pt2

Our first experience of a Scotland coastal holiday and it didn’t disappoint. The Wee House was a delight, it had everything you could think of, such a cosy place to stay. The views are wonderful from all windows. Kate was great and only 20 mins away if we had any problems. The village is beautiful with friendly neighbours, as we sat on the sea wall having a wee dram stopping to chat with you was a nice experience learning about the village history. A great time was had by myself and the wife, a perfect little getaway and we will be back again soon 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

    Holiday of a lifetime

We have been all over the world for holidays. Because if lockdown we cancelled all foreign travel. Bonus for us! We discovered Pennan and the North east coast.... and Katie’s house! Everything was just perfect. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much.

    Remote seaside cottage

The cottage interior design is nice and so is the wood burner. I dont have one so loved using it. The cottage has everything you need; kitchen, bathroom, living room with tv and bed. We loved the biscuits and cakes which were left for us. This get a away is ideal for anyone seeking to escape the city and return to nature. The sound of the waves is nice to fall asleep and wake up to. The sea gulls arent too loud either. The local neighbours and predominately scottish who were surprisingly not very welcoming. Other houses along the remote strip are also let out. I think the place gets alot of european visitors from Germany mainly. Overall not a bad experience.

Outstanding Fisherman’s Cottage with fantastic sea views

The Wee House, as it is called, is such a lovely place to stay: thanks to great attention to detail by Kate, it has a really cosy interior. Furthermore, it is well equipped, has fantastic views of the sea, the little harbour and the cliffs around. At low tide, you can even enjoy a swim in the bay in front of the cottage :-) To get lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves was such an amazing treat. Kate has definitely been a premier host: she gave us tips where to enjoy great walks starting from Pennan, and even left a punnet with strawberries from a local farmer to welcome us.
