Weekend get away
This is a brand new hotel right above North Station and next to TD Garden. The rooms are very small- my husband called them dorm rooms but done well and comfortable. The beds are comfortable but in order for two to sleep one person has to crawl and sleep next to the window . I was also not a fan of the shower but my husband liked it. It’s very quiet. There is a large community area on the lobby area with a bar and a little bodega. You self check in/ out but there were always employees there to help. I do have to say they are friendly and helpful but one was overly friendly with my husband, calling him dude and trying to engage in a political debate. Location is good being right on the Green line of the T, walkable to the North End and Quincy Market area- Boston is so small you can walk anywhere really. The Esplanade is close as well. We got a great rate and I do have to say due to the size of the room, I wouldn’t pay a much higher rate.

Wonderful Hotel
The hotel was wonderful. We loved the unique layout of the room. The bed was so comfortable. The view was amazing. We loved the tech savvy aspects of the room. We heard very little of our neighbors. The only downsides: you can hear everything inside the bathroom at all times which could be an issue for some people who need more privacy. The curtain that separates the two rooms is sheer (where you undress for the shower). You also can’t turn on just the bathroom light without turning on all the lights in the entire room. The parking situation is a nightmare if there is a game at TD garden. We had to sit in the car on the street for 2 hours before they would let us back into the lot. I think with proper planning (check an event calendar and the timing of the game), this would be a non issue so don’t let it deter you from this wonderful hotel.

Not our type of hotel. Tiny tiny rooms.
This is simply not our kind of hotel. We started caling our floor Cellblock 5. Very modern and we are guessing very sophisticated. The room was a hall with a bed at the end. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable and only one way had to crawl across to get in. OK for the very young..not so good for a retired couple. No coffee ofered! $3.00 downstairs in the lobby. The staff was excelent and extremely helpful. Tiny room. Tiny everything. The room was controled by an Ipad, lights, tv, etc. Fun for a bit, but thay wore off quickly. This hotel is for the young single set.
