Clean and modern interior, spacious room! Close to train station and walkable to some tourist areas. Would give 5 stars but was pretty disappointed by the reception male staff that we interacted with. Wasn't very friendly and was dismissive both times, unlike any other customer service we've experienced thus far in Japan.

Poor maintenance and low level of service.
During my stay, the poor maintained room facilities broken down one by one. Started with ceiling light bulb gave up working after flashing when we first entered the room, we reported it to the staff, even though with language barrier, it was fixed the next day. Secondly, the air purifier and humidifier started making loud noise that you cannot ignore; at night, the air conditioning joined the party, making the noise like a construction site; then a strong smell of smoking come from the bathroom, I reported, and one of the staff member came and standing outside of the room said he cannot feel anything different. I got change to a different room afterwards. When I took the air humidifier out to refill the water, the mould around the inside water bottle scared me. If you don’t put the not to disturb sign on the door, they will knock on your door from 10 am to do cleaning. If I don’t get ready to leave the room by 10am , my room will miss the chance to get clean. I think I’ll never return.
