Koora Hotel

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Marco, the manager, was so helpful and attentive. The service was exceptional. The view from our room was so beautiful. We could see monkeys in the trees from our balcony on one of the mornings. The food was delicious and they were always very accommodating. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Exepeptional service at this amazing lodge. Probably the best food we had in Costa Rica. Great onsite reserve where we saw Acutis, frogs and toucans.

We had a family bungalow which was very well organized. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with arranging excursions and accommodating our requests. Daiana was especially helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay, we were so sad it was only for one night!!!

Wow wow wow this place is simply amazing. Kenneth welcomes us and was super warm and friendly. He also recommended an outstanding restraint for dinner right next to the hotel. He even went to get something for us in a local store outside of the hotel area witch was unbelievable. The room and view were incredible. And breakfast was delicious. When you search hospitality in the dictionary you find this place. Amazing work guys, thank you for a stay we won’t forget

The Hotel Aguti Lodge and Reserve (previously Koora Hotel) provides intimate and relaxing accommodations synchronous with it's location in Monteverde. Our destination was the local wildlife reserves and we were pleasantly surprised by the walking-distance proximity of the Aguti Reserve. The lodge is small, with a total of 16 accommodations. My husband and I stayed in a family bungalow with our teenage son. The bungalows are close but independent of the main building with 2 generously sized bedrooms and baths and a small kitchenette. We had a great view from this hillside retreat and saw many birds and monkeys on the property. The staff was caring, learning all of our names and checking at every interaction that we had what we needed. The food, cocktails and wine at the onsite restaurant, Kire, was excellent and varied; which is particularly impressive given the small size of the lodge. Although we stayed for 3 nights, we never bothered to find another restaurant. I enthusiastically recommend the Aguti Lodge-- I'm confident that you will also be well taken care of and relaxed.

Our stay at Koora hotel was the highlight of our costa Rica trip. The property is beautiful, the staff is incredibly attentive and go above and beyond, and the food is exceptional. We only had one night there, and we are so sad as it wasn't nearly enough time at this amazing property. We are planning to return in March and stay at this hotel for a full week. Simply amazing place.

We loved this hotel! The room was beautiful, the food was excellent, and we were so excited to see wildlife from the deck of our room. We saw monkeys, coatis, and birds. It was a fabulous time!

Great property. Stayed in a 2 bedroom. Hotel staff were great and the sunsets amazing. Rooms were clean but had some critters like every place in Costa Rica. Loved the location up on the mountain; however, it made it a long walk to the center of town if you want to be able to walk everywhere. Most taxi rides were less than $5. Definitely recommend this hotel.
