Second time staying here - a little less positive! Staff amazing and polite as always when checking in. Was a little disappointed as last year, we had a standard caravan and this year, we had a premium one - but quality seemed ‘less’, a bit ‘shabbier’ and smaller en-suite. Only upgrade I could see was decking and chairs - but it was covered in bird poo (looked like it been there a while). Raised this with staff and they were brilliant and jet washed it that day. Also raised a few broken parts in the shower which they came out and looked at same day. But just like last year, the site itself is lovely, hence going back. It is quiet, set in a small village with fantastic locals (check out The Vine Inn). Only a pool and playground on site, but as a couple only, this is perfect for us. Site WiFi does not reach everywhere as they state, and mobile data is few and far between (I’m Tesco/O2 so may vary for others) so bear that in mind when travelling with kids who need to be connected! Definitely suitable for drivers only (I think, as I haven’t checked out local transport links as haven’t needed them). Lovely walk to the beach. Close to Ryde and Sandown, but anywhere is close enough on an island this size if you drive. Also recommend The Yarbridge Inn for food (10min drive). Overall, the site is clean and tidy. Caravans are nice and homely, just don’t expect perfection. But lovely and quiet to come ‘home’ to after a day exploring the island.

We had a lovely 4 night stay mid September. Very quiet holiday park. We booked a static with hot tub but was changed to a lodge with no hot tub due to unforseen circumstances. Lodge was lovely, spacious and comfortable for 2 adults and a dog, although it actually has 3 rooms (1 x double, 2 x 2 singles) Only thing we had an issue with was WiFi, it is not available across the whole park, only the front half of the park near the office has wifi, not the further back sections. They did manage to source a booster box for our lodge but this may be an issue at busy times, so just a heads up, as WiFi is a must for us.

We had a great start to our holiday, we hadn’t even boarded the ferry when we received a call from our accommodation to say we could check in (10.30ish) check in time was 4.00 originally .The accommodation was perfect, super clean and very comfortable, we had the heat wave so a fan would be useful. The site was in a perfect location , check in very quickly and lovely staff. We were close to a very well served convenience store, two pubs and easy distance for coastal walks . There are lots of great attractions close by , we visited many . We loved every minute and would definitely go back

Loved the van overall. Very pleasant to stay in. The Wi-Fi does not reach all the caravans. We had no Wi-Fi signal and struggled to get phone signal. The toilet and bathroom both had massive balls of hair that clearly had not been cleaned away and a lot of the plates, cutlery and glasses etc were dirty. Luckily we had a dishwasher so we ran everything through before using.

Nice, but not the best.

I’ll start with the positives, nice quiet static caravan site. Hot tub was well worth the extra. Caravan was petty new so in good condition. Close to a large Tesco which was handy. Carpet in the van had a bad smell, pet friendly place so must have had dogs. Beds are pretty uncomfortable, cheapest mattresses money can buy, not what I’d call luxury. Sofas not very comfy either. Photos on hotels.com booking confirmation doesn’t match what you get, photo of lodge is shown, which is twice as big as what you get. Don’t do what we did and book the ferry direct with the ferry company, the holiday firm have a link on their website to get it cheaper, our ferry cost was £200, would have been £70 if I had known. This isn’t mentioned at any point.

We loved the hot tub and heated pool and the lodge itself. Lovely pub close by. friendly reception staff Excellent location. On negative side..carpets were stained and dirty, although cleaned when we asked. Also stains on fabric chairs. So possibly needs an overhaul.

Spacious and clean site. The pool was well organised for social distancing, and kept clean. There are lots of plots without lodges or caravans on, so when they are there it will be much more crowded. The staff were very helpful and cheerful.
