great cabin in what should be a beautiful area but the beach was full of awful smelling seaweed. Nice room, clean and well decorated.

We were in Placencia for diving. At check in, everything seemed okay and the room looked nice. But when I had trouble making the TV work and asked "Cindy" the girl working there to help me, She said that they did not have TV service. But there are TV's in the rooms. Yes, but the hotel does not have service. Had I known this, I would have chosen any one of the other local places. Upon returning from our first day of diving we found that the room had not been made, the trash had not been taken our or any kind of service to the room at all. We didn't say anything about it the first day but after the second day, when the room had not been cleaned we asked why and were told they don't clean rooms. Considering that in this hotel you are expected to put your toilet paper in the trash can and not in the toilet, after three days of no room cleaning this was a problem.

New construction, nice decor, excellent cleaning service. Close to downtown and all restaurants. However barking dogs next door were a drawback. Also upset that we were not allowed to stay past 11:00am on checkout day though the place was only half full. No option of leaving luggage for a few hours as office is closed on Sundays. Thought that was a bit of poor customer service considering we stayed for 7 nights.
