Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile

Getting into position for valet parking was a long, stressful experience. The staff was very helpful and most courteous. Getting an elevator on the 40 floor to ride down and checkout took over 20 minutes. All were full to the brim so we just had to wait.

Had reservations for a month for two nights. When we arrived we were told they didn’t have room for us. We were told to go to a sister hotel for one night then come back for the second night.

Great clean right downtown Windy City.

It was a wonderful stay for all of us. The hotel is a place that is in a perfect location. We feel that the food and accommodations are the best in the city and will be staying there again.

We experienced issues with check in. First of all they could not find our reservations. Then the room type that we reserved was not available for us. We reserved a high floor with a city view. We ended up on a lower floor (14) without the city view. We were at the check in desk for 20 minutes waiting to get checked in. I then asked for a manager who finally came out and informed me that they didn’t have the room that I reserved. She reduced the price of the stay. She as well as the desk clerk were very pleasant, unfortunately the check In was not. The valet employees were extremely RUDE!! I am a Marriott rewards member as well as a Marriott Rewards credit card holder. This was the worst experience I have had with a Marriott stay. This makes me want to rethink tho ya now.
