Great location and staff, bad gym

I was traveling with my mom and we had booked a room with 2 doubles. When we checked in there were none available but we were upgraded to a suite at no charge, which was wonderful.The suite was spacious but needs updating. The location of the hotel can't be beat. My one complaint is that the gym is terrible. It's in a windowless, small room in the basement with minimal equipment. It is always irritating to me that a hotel will advertise that it has a gym but puts no effort in to providing a quality workout. At the very least, partner with a local gym so clients can get a great workout if they want to. I chose the hotel because it had a gym, and ultimately had to find a local gym and pay a day fee to use it.
