Good location…must pay extra for parking
Good location…must pay extra for parking. We were able to walk to nearby restaurant. There is construction in the area. The front desk was very polite and helpful. Anthony did a great job at check in and told me what was nearby that my family and I could walk to. The room was clean and we enjoyed our family trip. Just know that you must pay extra on top of your room rate for parking. We would stay here again.

Stay here, you’ll love it.
The hotel is in a great location. On the quiet part of the river but close to the actionable river area. Walkable to the Alamo, River Center Mall, The Majestic, and so many restaurants and bars. Parking is pricey but we found a place walkable for $10 a night, no ins and out though. The free breakfast buffet was darn good compared to other area hotels. We’d book here again for sure.

Too many inconveniences!
Only 1 of 3 elevators were working...this was a huge inconvenience. The shower was a trickle....breakfast choices were minimal. Unable to access wifi easily...had to take device to the front desk to have them configure it??? Ended up using data. Another huge inconvenience!

Poor Management
The hotel is cute and boutique like and clean. Unfortunately our hotel had 3 elevators and 2 were out of service. Apparently at one point all 3 were out. It took an exceptionally long time to get elevator access. We ran into the GM on the elevator and he very unprofessionally, preceded to voluntarily tell us that, “it was all guests fault the elevator was broken” and “did we think he liked this” and how “stressed he was”???? As the boss, this is how it goes when problems arise and guests should never be put in the middle. This was the beginning of our stay. As our stay continued we had several similar unprofessional encounters with him. The entire time only one elevator was working. After socializing (mainly on the ridiculously long elevator rides) with other guests, we found out he similarly acted as such with many paying customers, who chose to spend their holiday vacation with you. It made for some very long delays and inconveniences, and the attitude reflected by the leader and zero apologies or accountability and/ or any attempts at all for compensation for the inconvenience, isn’t acceptable. The woman who did our check in however, was a incredibly friendly and kind and helpful. This was our first and last encounter with a friendly welcoming face.
